The Bay Hotel - Pevensey

The windows in the room let in cold drafts due to being single glazed and poorly fitted were great. The bathroom lacked heat, with no towel rail or heating elements, and the fan malfunctioned. Check-in was peculiar with no clear instructions, and the lack of a way to lock the room door from the inside could make solo travelers uneasy. While the location is decent, the thin old windows do little to block out traffic noise and dampness, which detracted from the overall comfort of the stay.

Appreciated our 1 night stay. The room was newly renovated and clean here with a fab bathroom as well as all the amenities. The hotel had a marvellous location right in the seafront.

The room was spotlessly clean and newly decorated, with a comfortable bed and trendy bathroom. I especially appreciated the tea and coffee facilities. Location is a major plus. Just a short walk to the beach. Free parking is a fantastic bonus. I encountered a few issues. The heating didn't seem to provide enough warmth, and I noticed cold drafts from the single glazed windows. The bathroom was really chilly without any heating elements. The breakfast service next door was a bit slow, taking longer than expected. I enjoyed my time, but some improvements are definitely needed in terms of heating.

lovely venue, good location not far from the beach, and shops, and the pub, appreciated our stay. the staff was nice and kind and our experience was very lovely overall. meals were good, and there was the riverside inn near the hotel.

Absolutely loved the spaciousness and cleanliness of the room! 😍 Just a quick heads-up, though—the check-in was a bit odd since we waited a while to get in. a decent stay!

Perfect spot to chill and check out Sovereign Harbour and Eastbourne Golfing Park Golf Club. Owners are making big changes, and it's clear this place is gonna shine. The location is prime, just two minutes to the beach and public transport.

The location was perfect by the sea, and the room was clean and modern with comfy bed and clean towels. Staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast next door was good, but could have a few more options. Definitely will come back!

The restaurant is perfect for breakfast and features a newly remodeled, spotlessly clean environment. The bathroom and bedroom are fantastic, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful, allowing for easy walking to various attractions, and the cafe serves a delicious fry-up for breakfast.

Couples Relaxing Retreat

The location is good, just a few minutes walk from the beach! Our room was newly decorated, spacious and clean, and the bed comfortable. When I arrived, Vinnie was super helpful and eager to sort out any issue!

It wasn't inexpensive but still acceptable.

I had a lovely welcome from matthew who explained everything after check-in. My beautiful single room was clean and comfy, right next to the beach, super convenient. The breakfast at the café next door was good, just wished for more drink options.

The staff here are welcoming and incredibly friendly, and the location is conveniently just a short distance from the city center.

The staff were friendly and helpful with free parking, and everything completely met my expectations, so I would definitely return in a heartbeat.
